Before we hung one picture in our home, we hung this.
There are just so many applications to having a basketball hoop in your front lobby. The latest relates to practicing the piano. Before McKay practices we play one on one basketball for a set time. If when the timer rings he is winning, we practice for five minutes less than normal. If I'm winning we practice for five extra minutes. This seems to work out really well if he wins. 
I also love that our new china hutch "buffet" stores balls and sporting equipment, instead of fine linens and serving platters. This really is a great season of life.
