If you would have told me a year ago that Russ would head off to work looking like this, I never would have believed you. But last week he got some very authentic boots in preparation for boot Friday at work. The only difference between him and a real cowboy is that he carries a blackberry in his holster instead of a pistol.

I have a feeling he's going to have to soak his feet tonight after breaking these babies in.

Jen,
I don't remember if I commented and mentioned it before, but I'll mention it again, just in case: I found your blog from Jon and Meghan's and have loved keeping up with your guys' lives! I'm sure Russ LOVED wearing that get-up to work! :)
You can take a look at my blog, if you'd like: dustinandamyormond.blogspot.com
welcome to the saddle Russ! funny thing is, Eric's lived in Texas for most of his life and has never had a pair!
OK - this is nice. I mean, really - the hat, boots AND Dockers?
And Jen - I am the photographer around here. I am truly just learning. I still don't even have a big girl camera. I learned from a dear photog friend to not upgrade until you are truly ready and have outgrown your current camera. Most people don't have a clue about their point and shoot manual modes. I have learned them all. I am ready for a real camera - A Nikon preferably. I steal my sister's Canon DRebel whenever I can. I did Lindsay's baptism shoot in Colorado with my sister's camera. The ones from our anniversary...an assortment. I am hoping before the end of the week I have a new camera. Wish me luck!!!
