Unintentionally Russ and I both scheduled dentist appointments today. I had a root canal done this morning, and he had a crown put on. We have both been holding our teeth and groaning all night long. He said it was the worst most painful dental experience of his life. Mine was bearable, but I also had at least 9 shots of novicane. McKay was throwing up all last night and all morning, I think he was detoxing from all the junk food of the weekend, so we all have had a low-energy, millk shake sipping kind of a day.
Another little tid-bit. Our friends lost their cell-phone this weekend. We looked everywhere but had no luck. Then on Sunday a neighbor of ours who lives down the street and who we have only met once 3 1/2 years ago, knocked on our door with the phone. She asked if we might know the owner. I was thrilled to have found it, but was curious how she knew to bring it to us. She said it rang and she answered it. The man told her who it belonged to, and she said she didn't know anyone by that name that lived near here. The man said, well they are Mormon, do you know anyone around your place that is Mormon, just give it to them, and they will be able to get it to him. I'm so curious to know how she knew we were Mormon.
