Lately I've been thinking alot about blog safety. My whole reason for keeping a blog is for my kids. I want to be able to bind all the blog entries in a book and have a little "book of remembrance" for them to remember their childhood. My blog isn't intended to draw a large readership or ever earn any revenue. I just like to brag about my kids so they will look back and see how proud their mama was of them.
But recently someone mentioned that I put way too many details of my life in my blog,(as far as wierdo's could get too much info) which now that I think about it is totally true, but I don't want to edit my entries to compensate for the slight chance that someone is reading this with ill intent. I also would feel bad if the blog was in any way putting my children in harms way.
But I really like that I feel connected with family and friends and we can share ideas and stories and life.
So, I think I may switch over to the private blog. Everyone is welcome to view our family happening there. Since I think there is a grand total of 4 people who read this blog, it shouldn't be too tricky to get a password to all of you, if that's what I do. I'll have to look into it.
If anyone knows more about blog safety, I'd love your feedback. I just don't like the feeling that I could be endangering my kids. Sometimes I'm so naive about these things.

Good question. I don't have an answer. Not too many people read my blog, either.
