I just wanted to make sure I had recorded a few things that made my birthday special this year. I don't have pictures, but my sister-in-law Meghan took me out for a night on the town. We went shopping and out to dinner at Brio's. It was so fun to relax and have a second opinion when trying things on. It's so fun to have a sister in town.
Also, Russ and the kids decorated the house nicer than ever. I woke up to streamers, balloons, banners and more. Then he brought home a yummy cake that was loaded with ice cream and m&m's. Later that week a good friend brought over Subway sandwiches and we had a fun lunch together. I definitly felt loved, even if I am creeping up in years. When I was falling asleep Russ said, "Well dear, you're half way to 72". I'm still not quite sure what to make of that. Russ likes to rub it in that he's 3 months younger than me. All I know is, they've been 36 great years.
