St Patrick's Day
In the past we have tried to honor our Irish Ancestors by serving Cornbeef, cabbage and red potatoes on St. Patrick's day. It usually goes over like a load of bricks, and I am left eating the leftovers by myself for the next four days. So, this year our ancestors had to make do with a lot of green food. The kids went to the grocery store with me and all picked out different green foods. We had rolls dyed green, green salad with green peppers, celery, cucumbers, and lettuce. We served green apples and green grapes. Had spinach fettucini with green noodles and topped it off with green grasshopper pie. At least there weren't many leftovers!!
