April Fools Day

This morning I woke up and realized it was April Fools Day. I figured we needed to start the day off with a little joke, so I came running down stairs screaming and told Russ there was a snake in our living room. It scared Lauren so badly that she dumped over her bowl of rice and milk. About an hour later, after lots of "ha ha april fools" scams Emma came in and said there is a snake outside. I could hear Lauren screaming and thought she was quite a skilled actor because her terror sounded so authentic. I finally went to check it out, and sure enough Lauren was standing on the top of the slide with a big black snake slithering all around the bottom of the swing set. I guess I should have known she wasn't crying wolf.
