La Boheme

When we were at the library McKay saw a sign for the opera. He came running over and said there's an opera tomorrow can we please, please go. He didn't need to ask twice.

It was the "family opera" so they shortened it to 90 minutes, showed all the behind the scenes set changes, and even had "Pooch"ini, a dancing dog character come out in the beginning and teach a little bit about the Opera. McKay went home with a very good feeling, partly because the music was beautiful, partly because the theatre was grand, and partly because he noticed they were passing out free Puccini dog stuffed animals for all who filled out a survey.
