Halloween 2008

This halloween we chose cowboys and indians as our theme. McKay wanted to be a missionary (o.k., actually he wanted to be Indiana Jones, but I told him he had to pay for anything over $10.00 (that was my halloween budget). He suddenly realized that a hat and whip were pricier than he had first thought, and a missionary costume that cost nothing would be a much finer investment for him. We attended a really fun ward party during the week, and went trick or treating with cousins, and our special guest Aunt Cath, on Halloween night. As usual we had our dinner in a pumpkin and stayed up late into the night trading our goods. One doctor has suggested that McKay's migraines may be be attributed to food coloring, so he had to trade all his suckers and hard candy for chocolate. What a sacrifice..

Lauren had a 50's day at school the day before Halloween to celebrate their 50th day of school.
