Hitting the slopes

We went to Brighton for a day so the kids could see snow and Russ could hit the slopes. McKay, Lauren and Emma went to ski school and made good progress for Floridians. McKay was able to conquer the bunny slope and enjoyed riding up the ski lift. The girls learned the pizza slice techniqe and for the most part were standing more than sliding. I haven't seen Russ smile so big in a long time. He was so happy to be skiing again after a 13 year break. I doubt we'll go another 13 years before we're back at it.
I watched the babies in the cafeteria while they hit the slopes, but I saw one mom with her baby in a backpack carrier going down the mountain. Now there is an idea for next time.
