Bean Snapping Fun

We have the exact opposite problem as the Little Red Hen. In our house we can get our children to plant the beans, harvest the beans, snap the beans, compost the ends of the beans, blanch, label and freeze the beans. We can even get them to pretend the beans are horns and run around like wild bulls, we just can't get them to eat the beans. Next year I am going to try to plant popsicles.
