We had a fabulous Memorial Day. In reverse order, since I accidentally downloaded the pictures that way, we ended with a super delicious cook out with good friends. Unfortunatly, it was a good bye dinner, which took a little of the fun out of it. But the kids still enjoyed playing on their water slide and being together.
Even Sierra had a great time getting in on the fun and spraying the big kids.
I will always consider my friendship with Nancy one of my greatest blessings. Our early morning runs not only helped my physically, but mentally too. She was great such a great listener and inspired me in so many ways. I always knew I could count on her, I would have never been able to get up so early, if I didn't know that Nancy would be up waiting, and she would make those 5 miles a little less painful. Our day also involved a trip to Peanut Island, where we snorkeled, swam, and enjoyed our friends' sail boat. We stayed a little too long on the beach and ended up getting marrooned. They graciously rowed us back in their dinghey.

I always admire anyone who honors memorial day with more than a mention of it during a prayer to bless the BBQ food! Looks like a fabulous day...
