So, we thought we would put water bottles in our fancy gadget. This was great for a day, until our 2 year old never could get the lid on quite right, and the bottles need to lay horizontally, and we had puddles by the refrigerator constantly.
So, my personal little miracle, while not as dramatic as that recorded in the New Testament, was that today I turned wine (or actually a wine cellar) into a bunkbed. I posted it on Craig's list and found a buyer today. I'm terrible at selling things, so it was somewhat of an adrenaline rush to have him say, "Would you prefer cash or a check". McKay and I are going bunkbed shopping first thing in the morning.
I do feel that it was a tender mercy of the Lord, that it sold so quickly.
I had originally told McKay he had to wait until he had a brother to get a bunkbed. With this last pregnancy I told him that regardless of the baby's gender, he would get a new bed. Good thing, I think it helped soften the blow of another sister coming into the family. Besides, McKay loves Savannah, I know he wouldn't trade her for all the brothers in the world.

I guess the ceilings in your new home are high enough that McKay feels comfortable with a bunk bed now. I can't wait to hear all about it.
