We had a wonderful day at the Symphony yesterday.  It was a fabulous experience taking the girls to see the Houston symphony perform the classic Christmas songs.  Santa came out and led us all in a sing-a-long, and a radio announcer with a great British accent performed "Twas the Night Before Christmas" while the symphony played all the sound effects in the background.  The conductor was dressed up like a large red ornament.  It was beautiful music in a very child friendly atmosphere.  We admired the large gingerbread house they had on display as we left.
