A dollar and a doughnut

McKay lost his white church shirt two weeks ago.  This has been a source of great frustration to him.  He has looked high and low, but to no avail.  He has worn a nice sweater instead to church, but has just got a new suit, and would really like to find his white shirt so he can wear his new suit coat.  In a moment of utter desperation he proclaimed, "I will give anyone who finds my white shirt a dollar and a doughnut"  The great search was on.  Lauren finally proclaimed, I found it, only to realize it was really dad's white shirt, but on closer look, it was both Russ and McKay's shirt together.   So where was it this whole time?  The side of Gracie's bed.  She loves to feel fabric when she is going to sleep, especially cotton, and is often found in our closet, sucking her thumb going up and down Russ' shirts, feeling each one.  Apparently the boys left their shirts out, so she just took them to bed with her and they fell in the crack.  What relief.  It's amazing what motivation a dollar and a doughnut can be.
