Christmas Eve

We had our traditional Christmas Eve this year with piano duets, readings from Luke, singing around the piano, and lots of children giddy with anticipation.
Multiple costumes were required for this years presentations. First the kids dressed up for their reinactment of the Nutcracker, then they had a quick costume change for their reinactment of the First Christmas from Luke,

then mom surprised them all with a jolly little costume of her own. I had planned to sneak outside and knock on the door, but when I peeked out my bedroom to see if the coast was clear all the kids looked up and started squeeling and screaming uncontrolably. So much for being sneaky.

Our friend Jamsey Shidel came and read the Christmas story from Luke for us. It was a memorable night for all.
