On our first date Russ and I made haunted gingerbread houses for Halloween. Every year since we've made gingerbread houses in some form or another. Since we've moved to Florida we've invited a few special neighbors to come decorate with us. This year we had my favorite Floridians attend, my neighbor Sandy and her granddaughter Mia, my running friend Nancy, and her children Sebastian and Madison and my wonderful sister-in-law Meghan with Fuller, Olivia and Logan.
It's so humid here we have had some bad luck with soggy caved in houses, so this year we were determined to make them from scratch in an effort to have them stay in one piece. I think I went through more molasses in two days than I have in the rest of my life combined. Our home sure smelled good though.
