Savannah got a rattle,
Luggage and new running shoes for Daddy
Digital cameras for the kids,
and a lovely make up kit from Emma's sunbeam teacher (who is by the way the best sunbeam teacher on the planet!)

I received a cell phone and a rice steamer.
McKay mentioned that he wanted basketball shoes for Christmas. I took Lauren shopping and after multiple stores and quite a long day we finally found him a pair for a reasonable price that were in his size. When we got home McKay started grilling Lauren for any details he could. He asked what type of stores we went to etc etc., finally Lauren crumbled under the pressure and said "we got you new basketball shoes". He was thrilled and kept gloating that he had figured out what his presents were. After all that effort to get him a last minute surprise I was not happy.
I decided to put a pair of new pants in the shoe box instead and wrap it up. McKay was excited to finally unwrap the present he knew were shoes. When he opened the box he looked at me confused. I smiled and said I told Lauren to trick you and tell you it was shoes but really we were getting you pants. He hates getting clothes as gifts, and immediately started bawling and took all his Christmas presents and stomped upstairs to his room. Luckily I had taken the shoes and put them on his pillow after he had come down so there were sitting his new basketball shoes. He stopped crying and realized he had been had at his own game. Hopefully that will stifle his nosiness a little.
