Mr. Fix It

A few months ago our dishwasher stopped working.  It wouldn't let me even run a cycle.  We called a repairman out.  He said it would be about $350.00 to fix.  I knew we could buy a new one for not more than that so we didn't have him do the work.
I took the younger children with me as we went to Lowe's trying to price new dishwashers.  Sierra asked what we were doing at the store.  I explained we were trying to find a dishwasher that didn't cost very much money.  Sierra has amazing faith and a strong testimony of the power of prayer.  She immediately asked if she should say a prayer.  I smiled as she sincerely asked Heavenly Father to help us find a dishwasher that cost .70 cents or 1 dollar.  I thought that maybe with her faith we'd find some scratch and dent deal, but no such luck.  When I went home I researched the problem a little and found a video that showed us how to replace the heating element.  It looked like something we could handle.  So after $29.00 to order the part, a little elbow grease from my boys, and a sincere prayer, our dishwasher has worked like a charm for months.  The repair went pretty smoothly, other then the part where steaming hot water came spewing out uncontrollably and flooded the kitchen.
