Savannah's Siblings

McKay handled the fact that he had another sister quite well. After bellowing, "It's a girl" on the phone he was happy to hold her and give her some brotherly love, but only long enough to take a picture, so he could move on to more exciting prospects ---
... like playing with the hospital bed. He also found it entertaining to push the emergency nurse button and see how fast the crew of nurses could come running in. They were not amused. Luckily Emma had been taught the story of the boy who cried wolf at church that morning, and filled him in. However, it did help with speeding along the discharge process.

Lauren's maternal instincts have bloomed. She snuggles the baby nonstop. It pains her to not have Savannah in her arms every minute.

Sierra is pretty worn out by the overwhelming responsibility of being a big sister.

Emma has taken on her role as mom's main assistant beautifully. She is always offering to get me a diaper, tickle her toes to wake her up for a feeding, or put a blanket on her etc. She also brings me snacks when I am nursing her so I don't get hungry. Is she well trained or what.!
