Some years we spend hours upon hours contemplating what theme to design our Halloween costumes around, and then spending countless late night sewing and gluing and duct taping our hearts out. This was not such a year. I opened up our tub of costumes and said, go for it. The kids had a great time trying on all the costumes of past years. A friend took some pictures of our actual Halloween night, but I have not yet received them. McKay chose to be a viking, Lauren a nerd, Emma a witch, Sierra Snow White, Savannah a dalmation dog, and Matthew a giraffe. We had a trunk or treat at the church on Friday, a neighborhood party on Saturday, and Trick or Treating on Monday. Needless to say, we had plenty of candy.
