Randy, the Bluebell employee, passed out over 10,000 ice cream bars. I'm quite confident at least 100 were from our family alone. It's been a great tradition to head over to Brenham for the annual run.
McKay and Drew paced each other step for step. Drew is a great motivator for McKay.
It was especially nice to have Grandma and Grandpa there to cheer us on.
Aunt Super Suzanney helped the girls run the 1 mile fun run.
Lauren helped me run the last few feet to get me to the finish line.
I'm so grateful McKay has such great cousins to pave the way for him. They really are the next best thing to brothers.
This was my first 10K post baby. It was nice to get back into the groove. There was a running coach helping some people who were running near me. He had an important theme that I thought was a good life lesson as well -"Don't trip your pace by running fast on the down hill portions - use this time to catch your breath".
