We ended our Spring Break week by camping near Austin with the cousins.

It was a beautiful park with lots of groomed trails, and even some donkeys to feed.
It seems there is always something fun to collect. Last year we camped in the Florida Keys and collected sea shells and jelly fish. This year the kids loved collecting Pecans.

A camp-out is never complete without tin-foil dinners. We also enjoyed dutch oven cobbler compliments of Aunt Debbie.
About 5:00 a.m. terrential rainstorms and 30 mph gusts of wind made us break camp quickly. We were soaked, but had a great time. When we arrived home our neighbor came over. He said his wife mentioned that we were "roughing" this week. He was shocked due to the weather, and said he and his wife have now nick-named our family "the roughies".

Looks like you got a new tent! Your neighbors would have gotten a big kick out of you rigging the old one with tube socks!!
