We had a great New Years Eve party this year. The children's party included a rousing round of "fruit basket"

and a countdown until 8:00.
After they were tucked in, some debonaire guests showed up

The kids enjoyed bringing Grandma breakfast in bed the next morning to celebrate her birthday.
They were quite excited when she said they could help blow out the candles.

Perhaps opening one's eyes when carrying cake could be a New Year's resolution.
Other fun memories of the holiday were having the girls go shopping (for a wedding dress), the boys go on a golf retreat, going to the movie, watching lots of bowl games and lots of ping pong, fooz ball and family football games.
