Lauren's funny sayings

Lauren has said a couple funny things this week that I wanted to make sure I put down in our family history. Today she was in the back seat looking at a book with Emma. I overhead her say, "Emma you are going to marry this guy. He looks totally gross, but I know you are going to love him so much". Later today she said, "Mom, I wrote you a poem". It read: Dear Mom, I will miss you when you die. I'll pray for you and tell my children about you." Pretty poetic if you ask me. She will be having her 6th birthday with all of our extended family this next week, so I told her if she wanted to have a SIMPLE little tea party with a friend or two she could, but we didn't need a big party since we'd celebrate with all the family. I let her look on the internet at some different teapot cakes today, she came running in saying mom, this is so cool, this is exactly what I want. Perfect, I thought, since all the cakes were made from a bowl and looked pretty easy to re-create. However, she had clicked on an add for a candle that was a flower that played music and started blooming into some spinning, firecracker releasing, spectacle. So much for simple.
