Easter Traditions

I love Easter. Here are some of our traditional activities that we love to do every year.

Dying eggs for our Family Home Evening Activity, (glitter this year)

matching Easter dresses,

I offered to buy McKay the matching vest, but he said he'd prefer a new soccer ball.

finding Easter baskets,

This year each of the children invited a friend over for a little Easter party. We dyed eggs by wrapping cut up silk ties around them and boiling them in vinegar water. They were a super fun project, one I hope will be a new tradition.

This little guy comes to Easter dinner every year. This year we experimented making him whole wheat. We had some neighbors over for a traditional ham dinner between conference sessions.

We even babysat Mr. Wiggles, our neighbors Easter present, a few days later. It didn't take long before the novelty wore off and we had to draw straws to see who could have the fun opportunity of cleaning his cage.
It's always wonderful to spend time focusing on the wonderful gift of the Resurrection. How grateful I am for a Savior who made it possible for us live again.
