Our new favorite game is broom hockey. I haven't had to assign sweeping as a chore for days now. The kids have turned our hallway into a sport court. One day it's soccer, the next hockey. Russ even ordered a basketball hoop to screw onto the wall below the balcony. I'm sure it's not quite how Martha Stewart would have planned it, but it works for us.
Now I just need to sew a mop onto Savannah's onesies, and she can crawl around and mop up after them.

Your house is so light and bright! I am jealous! I live in the sun but the way my house sits gets next to no daylight. I guess that is good for keeping cool...but sometimes I feel like I am in a cave. Oh - and maybe I can teach mine to play hockey, er, sweep!
